How to hide caller ID in iPhone
You can make a phone call without giving your phone number. The purpose of this article is to show you how you can hide your number while calling someone on your iPhone. This will allow you to make anonymous phone calls. There are various reasons why your phone number may not be displayed. For example, you might not want a stranger to see your number. Whatever the reason, it is a very simple process.
What is Caller ID? Caller ID displays the phone number of the caller on your screen. If the caller number is saved on your phone, its contact name will be displayed. When you hide your caller ID, it means that your phone number will appear as private, no caller ID, unknown or something similar when you call people.
Hide your caller ID for all calls
If you want to hide your caller ID for all the calls you make, it taps something on your iPhone. Unfortunately, this feature is not available on all carriers. Currently, Verizon, Straight Talk and US Cellular do not support it.
But most carriers do support hiding caller ID info, here’s how
Open your Settings and select the Phone app.
Scroll down to and tap Show My Caller ID.
Turn off the toggle for Show My Caller ID.
It’s as easy as that! Now when you make a call, your name and number will not display on the other person’s phone. And since it’s so simple, you can easily turn that toggle back on later if you change your mind.
Now for every call you make from your iPhone, your number will not be shown. When you make a call, the recipient will not know which number is trying to reach you until your call is answered.
